Robber Flies of Connecticut

Based on Fisher and Wilcox's Catalog 1997 (unpublished). Not all species have been verified but may occur based on presently known geographies. Some species are likely historical and may not be present since the time of Bromley's studies in this state. Michael Thomas is currently working on redefining the Asilid status for Connecticut. The large Efferia genus has been split into new genera by South American Asilid scientist Jorge Artigas. This split is not accepted by all fly guys apparently. I have put the new genera in [ ] under that genus.
