Another of the fine Leptogastrinae family. This is an Apachekolos. There are three likely in AZ where Norm took this shot. Cheryl spotted it apparently at an amazing 18 feet from the trail. Note the extreme hind legs. Genus separated from the other lanky Leptogasters by the gradual femur expansion and a lack of a hair row on abdominal segment 2. We have one species in the genus in AR A. tenuipes.
