Four-spotted Pennant Brachymesia gravida

The Pennant that is mostly seen in south Arkansas. Was especially common around some fish ponds north of Lonoke one year. Not a Celithemis. This is a juvenile male with the nice red orange coloration that disappears to make a mostly dark-bodied male. Very common at Red Slough Oklahoma where this was taken.

Compare David's true female. From the Okay Levee in Charles country. A bit more orange but very close patterning.

And finally an adult male and an excellent Baldwin shot.
