The Thraupis that is a bit less frequent is the Azure-winged Tanager. This is one on the right and that is a Sayaca on the left. They have, oddly enough, a sterner facial look and more pale bright blue at the wing corners and this varies with the light. Sayacas are always much plainer and just a bit smaller.
