The Azure Jay is a large Corvid that seems to be the only jay attracted to Luck's yard so far. Two other Cyanocorax species occur in SE Brazil but have not visited the yard at this point. Often occur in multiples when they appear. Stealthy birds, these are large jays compared to the North American species. More like brighly marked crows.

The remarkably improved color tones. Some of this is light. Some is better cam. The jays are daily raiders at the new cam. And polenta is their game. They sometimes haul big mouthfuls off and it cannot be for young.
A quad of jays. And again hammering the polenta.
