Olympia Marble Euchloe olympia A spring specialty closely related to the Orangetip. Less common in general with certain elevated areas having nice brood emergences in spring, mostly in western Arkansas. Often occurs with Orangetips and can fool observers when in flight. Marbles are larger and have a slower flap rate. There is no orange in either sex and, of course, the wingtips are not falcate but rounded as shown here. |
