Eufala Skipper Lerodea eufala

A distinctly colored skipper that looks soft dusty brown and has the half circle of spots in the open wing as shown. Larger than a Fiery Sipper and appears longer winged. Not common in Arkansas. Wanders over most of the state later in the summer.

And Charles Mills' outer view from his SW AR site. Again note the dusty brown color, that appears soft and scaly. I don't see but about 1 or 2 a year at most and usually not in my home county.
